"Other than the continous updates from Vista...I will say that this is an excellent machine. My TV recently went out and I had to catch up on some of my favorite shows online...the HD screen is the best."

"I replaced an older Toshiba labtop with this and have been very pleased. My other Toshiba got infected because my protection was lost. It made replacement easier. Both labtops are just right for my use."

"Toshiba has kept pace with me through several stages in life. From student, to professional, to wife, and to mother, I've been completely satisfied with my Toshiba computers. Several friends and colleagues found their computers obsolete as their lives progressed; most had to change computers and/or brands just to keep up. Not me. I haven't had to look elsewhere, because Toshiba has offered exactly what I've needed through the years. I've been so satisfied with my Satellites that I'll never purchase another brand. I've even converted my husband, who was a brand-faithful HP user/consumer for 15 years. We are definitely a Toshiba family!"

"This laptop work good. I love Toshiba so I had to upgrade for this. It is starting to run a little slow and the battery does last as long as I would like. Also the wireless modem is not pulling my wireless connection. I may need servicing already."

"I recieved this laptop for a birthday gift. I love it. It has vista and I would rather have windows but other than that its great and fun. I also wish my all in one printer would work with it but, it does not."

"I have been very impressed with this". The only downfall I have seen is when doing games on the internet you need to keep it plugged. Like you would watching movies, big stuff, etc. But if you want to work offline, check email, etc.. It has been great. The processing really quick. Graphics great. Ram great. Everything has had what I expected and then some. But I recommend going through the company only. If purchasing through best buy, etc. don't get burned I like I did as far as putting on what you want. Call the company like I did. They seem to do better putting what you need more than the third party stores. Sometimes in life you want to get something you right you just need to go to the source."

"Laptop is very nice. I use it for gaming mostly, and it performs great. Has crisp picture and fast refresh rate. Only set back is that the battery doesn't last but about an hour, or so it seems. Overall, good quality for the money."

"My only complaints about this computer would be the battery life is no where near what it says its supposed to be. The sound is not the best (volume is low)...however I find using a earpiece or headphones work well or even connect speakers to and the volume is much louder. Overall its a great computer."

"The laptop is excellent but the windows 7 that was promised when I bought it, to go with it was never and still has not been sent. "So far, this laptop is pretty good. I did have some issues in the beginning. I had serious problems trying to connect to the internet. I then found out that Toshiba is not compatible with Kapersky Anti-Virus software. Never heard of anything like that before. Mouse pad it also a little too sensitive."

"Laptop is very good performance wise. However, the location of the USB ports and the power plug get in the way of those who would rather use a mouse than the touchpad. The touchpad is very jumpy and inserts the cursor at random places when typing. The power plug should be on the rear, or if on the side, at least be "L" shaped so as not to protrude so far. The USB ports should be on the back or at the top of the sides instead of on the lower portion on the left side, and in the middle on the right side. Their present location causes them to get in the way. The volume control knob also has no stopping point in either direction so it just turns endlessly when trying to adjust the sound. Also, the computer seems to get very hot, and even with a chill mat, the air coming out of the side vent is unusually hot."
