"this computer give so much unexplained trouble. first the sound keeps going low then high, now the screen is getting two black marks across it. it is the second toshiba that i have seen doing this."

"My old Toshiba had a dolby sound and 4 USB ports instead of three of this one. The S video and the HDMI outputs for connection with LCD screens are also missing in this laptop."

"This is my first laptop. After a year of research i decided to get the A500, but after 5 best buys none had it, so i got stuck with the L505. I love toshiba for their quality and durability. L505 is a great laptop for its price tag but speakers bass is poor and not loud enough and battery life not sufficient. I am satisfied, however i still have my heart on the A500 so i will purchase it next year."

"I've had my new machine for about 2 months and I'm just delighted! I think Toshiba is a very underrated brand. The features, ease of use and ease of set up are terrific--I love the big screen. I have worked in the PC business for 30 years and always had a work PC--this machine is a surpise and a delight!"

"Not too happy with the volume button and speaker function. Expected the sounds to be louder without having to add additional speakers. My previous Toshibs Laptop had great speakers."

"Had a toshiba, then bought HP, now back to toshiba. There's no comparison. Quality blows Hp away. Even the software that comes with toshiba blows Hp away, and doesn't fill your hard drive up with a bunch of useless softeware. I won't switch from toshiba again."

"I don't spend a lot of time on the computer at home because I do so much of it at work. However, it does everything I need it to. My only shortcoming is my AT&T internet service, which I plan to change soon. Thanks, Toshiba for another great product!"

"My first Toshiba product. Bought in September this year. Beginnings not so encouraging - mulfunction at the 4th day of ownership (completely not reacting, dark screen). Repair by service - quite fast, about one week. There has been no problem since then but ... you have to built my trust/confidence now. Overall - good design and performance"
