"I installed this HDD onto the netbook NB205-N325BL. Also purchased BounceBack from Toshiba to transfer data and everything worked out flawlessly. Finding the upgrade on the site, ordering it, and having it all sent in a timely manner was painless compared to other netbook providers in the past. Swapping out the HDD was easy (For some odd reason one needs a TORX-6 screwdriver to remove the initial panel; however I was able to purchase one at Radio Shack). The data transfer took about 3hrs (32GB) and the swap of the HDD took no more than 20 minutes."

How to swap and save old configuration, August 5, 2009

"1) You need Toshiba Recovery CD/DVD. Make it ir buy it.
2) clone old drive to intermediate backup or use a usb case for old drive. I use Apricorn to clone. I think WD app has similar with $ Passports.
3) Swap old HDD for new. Use old caddy.4) Use Recovery disk to configure new. 5) Clone back.
Worked for me. Takes up to three hours. HDD OK for speed and heat."
