"I am an artist and a student. I am in love with this tablet. I would recomend getting at least 2 gigs of RAM if you get Vista though. Things I wondered before I bought it... Does the computer keep up with pen movements pretty well? Yup! Is this tablet penabled? Yes. What program would I not live without? OneNote 2007. Seriously I cannot praise OneNote enough and I use it daily for at least a few hours. Art Rage is a nice and cheap program for the artists out there with little cash and want to use the pressure shading (like with a pencil) The screen on this tablet is great too because it feels like writing on paper instead of glass. I find that it doesn't smudge up with finger prints as easily as I had expected it would too- this is a constant mystery to me. The battery life at the highest setting is pretty low though so strategically place yourself near a power supply if you will be working on it long. I don't find this to be a problem for me though. And yes the 12 inch screen is a good size- it actually is about the size of a regular sheet of paper which I have never thought was too small to write on."

"Windows Vista has been a challenge, but i love the computer.
I would not buy a tablet again though....lots of dust gets between the pen surface and the display and you can't clean it out. It gets really really annoying."

"This is my first Toshiba. I've been impressed with the quality & features. I upgraded the RAM to 2G and the processor to 2.4Ghz and I opted for the 120GB @7200rpm. The system is very fast & efficient. This is also my first tablet. I put off buying one for a while, but now I take this thing everywhere (meetings, training, desktop, home); it's an awesome tool. The included software made learning & using the pen and touch screen simple. If you have never used a tablet before, BUY ONE!"

"I just hold on to the laptop and it's the best ever. It's my first tablet pc. I didn't knew if It was good to transfer to tablet pc, but I don't regret it now. I also have a touch screen mobile phone, I am very used to the touch screen input devices. Using both of them, really makes my life easier."

"This is my fourth Toshiba notebook (currently running one as a desktop replacement, two older ones have been passed on to parents, family).
My M700 is surpassing my highest expectations! Fully loaded, this tablet pc is running the most intensive graphics and scientific software with ease. Every aspect of the hardware and utilities has obviously been considered and designed for durability, dependability and ease of use.
My M700 allows me to take my business on the road, designing on the fly and communicating via any method without issues. I typically connect to a wide variety of internet and presentation technologies (e.g. projectors) to give presentations and collaborate; the M700 does this with ease!
My M700 also allows me to bring fun - making the travelling and hotels a little more "homey."
From a decade of experience with Toshiba products, I know that Toshiba repair service is rarely needed (if ever) - but that they are excellent and quick to resolve an issue if one arises. I recommend a service package direct from Toshiba for peace of mind - it's a bargain.
A true pleasure!
By the way - my two old Toshiba notebooks - M200 and Satelite X205 are still going strong!"
