Labelflash allows you to burn monochrome, multi-gradated pictures and/or write titles on the label side of DVD discs that utilize the special writing dye developed by FUJIFILM Corporation through the use of DVD writers with the Labelflash function.

"I have to say that I love everything about my Toshiba Laptop except the Labelflash! Toshiba should have Lightscribe so the consumers could actually use the option! Sorry Toshiba this customer won't be returning next time!"

"I own a toshiba notebook as well as an Acer desktop that are both equipped with Labelflash. I LOVE the quality of image on labelflash which is superior to my wifes lightscribe enabled laptop. HOWEVER, the price of lightscribe recordable media makes it difficult to purchase labelflash. No cd-r availability also hurts labelflash."

"I have no idea why Toshiba would put Labelflash on their systems when you cannot find the discs. When you do find them, they are terribly expensive. Although I do like my Satellite, I'd think twice before buying another laptop from Toshiba."

"This is my second Toshiba and my last.
I will NOT purchase another Toshiba until they remove the Label Flash !! I would prefer Lightscribe, at least you can buy them. Cost of Lightscribe is about 30-50 cents each, IF you can find the Label Flash they are 1.90-2.25 each. Lightscribe has many colors, Label flash has a nice blue... only blue!. Lightscribe has CD and DVD, Label flash has only DVD., but worthless if you can't find them. looks like we stick with the sticky labels."

"I purchased a Toshiba Satellite at the recommendation of three different sales people, great computer except the label-flash! I wish I would have stuck with light-scribe so I could continue to label my CD's. Very disappointed :("

"We bought a Gateway GT5656 w/22 HD Monitor because it is advertised as being able to use Labelflash for DVDs and CDs. We cannot find Labelflash CDs ANYWHERE!! including Gateway!!"
