"It's definitely a fast machine, and so far has been dependable, but I'm very disappointed with the sound quality. Watching videos isn't a pleasant experience with very poor sound quality. This is my 2nd Satellite and I actually think that my older Satellite was a better product."

"Very good price from Office Max for the technical specs on this lap top. Screen brightness, clarity and color are very good. The keyboard takes some getting used to if you aren't used to the right side ten key. For some reason the keys on the keyboard seem flat. Also, the speakers are tinny sounding and was very disappointed with the sound quality. That problem, however, gets solved with the purchase of a set of externals. The I-5 processor gets you from page to page in a very acceptable amount of time.
The Satellite is quite light weight and seems to feel somewhat fragile . Overall, after 30 days of use I think I got a pretty good deal."

"The laptop is great. But the thing that sold me the most was the customer service I received from the Office Max salesperson, Ali. She literally taught me about laptops so I was able to make a competent choice. P.S. I was ignored in Best Buy."
